what is mindbody nutrition?

in the mindbody nutrition approach, we learn how digestion, assimilation, calorie burning and all the nutritive functions of the body are impacted by mind, emotions and lifestyle.

It’s the psychophysiology of how thoughts, feelings, beliefs, stress, relaxation, pleasure, awareness and more directly influence how we metabolize a meal.

What we eat is half the story of good nutrition.

The other half of the story is who we are as eaters.

what is health?

Simply focusing on food for health and happiness can be a constricting way to be. at F&M, we explore the arena not only from eating and metabolizing certain foods, but from thinking good thoughts and having a healthy, empowered attitude. We gather resources and stories to transform our view of health into a healthy personality, a healthy soul, a healthy attitude, and a healthy approach to life

when does healing happen?

Oftentimes the Mystery of healing is teaching us humility, resilience, perseverance, love… that we’re not in control… that we need to look deeper, listen to the messages, and to let go. When we can let go and embody a fulfilling life, even when we feel we don’t have a healthy body and it still needs work, our wellbeing won’t be not dependent on that.

We’re helping create conditions so that our deeper wisdom, higher power, inner knowing about our bodies & life, comes through

what is disease?

We view disease as our psyche and body’s attempt to achieve wholeness.

This experience is an opportunity to grow, not to be punished

what nourishes us?

We can get stuck looking for nourishment exclusively from food, which makes sense because food is very nourishing. We are entering an exploration of what is pleasureful and delicious, both to our bodies and minds. Hence, nourishment is a fluid process of understanding ourselves and what we really need

how often will the magazine be published?

Each issue will be released on the 21st of each month

what will the format of the magazine look like?

Since F&M is an ever-evolving cosmos, we know it will have different iterations and versions. Our priority is to be consistent on providing the tools to nourish a healthy mind body and soul throughout.

who are the contributors?

Contributors range from experts in the psychology of eating, various psychotherapy modalities, leaders in gastronomy and food art, body movement and exercise trainers, as well as other fields of delicious mind and eye cookies.

how can I subscribe to the F&M magazine?

is there a subscription cost?

We will be free of charge for the time being. Our aim is to perfect our recipe by listening to your feedback and iterating on how we can best cater to you.
